Are in the market of a Wii, a second Wii, or a replacement Wii? Well have a I got some good news for you. Nintendo is releasing a new Wii bundle as an attempt to make one final push on Wii sales before the Wii U ships. This new all bundle will be replacing the current system that comes with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This system will include a black Wii, black Wii Remote Plus and matching Nunchuck controller, and both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort on one disc (both fancy and convenient). The best part of this, the new system is going to retail at $129.99. While stores are already getting the new console you can expect it to be widely availble by 10/28/2012 (Nintendo has a thing for Sundays it would seem).
So we created a plan for this podcast, we really did. But we failed to stick to it at all and ended up going on random tangents. Hope that keeps you entertained this week cause it was a lot of fun to record.

While looking around on the internets, I came across this video from a recent half-time performance from the Ohio State University Marching Band. Being a former band geek and knowing that IrishPride is still a band geek, I thought that him and others would get a kick out of this video. The band has some amazing timing and choreography along with classic video game tunes (except for one). Good job guys!
I felt that I have kept forgetting to bring this game up, and now it comes out Tuesday. So with that I will finish this assassin's trifecta with an interactive trailer for Dishonored.
This interactive video contains some minor spoilers, and is best played while in 'Full screen'.
So the name of the game is assassination. But how does one go about it? Are you stealthy? Do you aim at just one target? Do you use the environment to do your dirty work? Or do you go all out with guns and explosives? Lets see how what Agent 47 thinks?
Intrigued? The wait is almost over as Hitman Absolution hits stores November 20, 2012.
Ubisoft has announced that you can get all 5 DLC packs that will come out for Assassin's Creed III as they come out for one cost of $29.99 (2400 MS Points). The season pass will come out within 6 months of the game coming out and will give people a saving of 25% on the DLC packs (assuming you buy all 5) and, this is the cool(ish) part, you get the DLC a week before non-season pass owners. This means you get a chance of bragging rights on beating the new DLC before your friends get a chance to even play it.
So what do they plant to do with this DLC? Well for the first one they are doing a "what if" model. A quick quote from the press release:
“History is our playground – and AC teams have always loved playing with historical facts and their consequences as a way to better understand a time period,” said Sebastien Puel, Executive Producer at Ubisoft. “While Assassin’s Creed III concentrates on history as it happens, we wanted to take some liberties with this DLC and tell you how things ‘could have happened.’”
To show this off the first DLC is titled "The Tyranny of King George". In it George Washington looks at the newly freed colonies. People love him and want him to rule. In this reality he take the over to live as king, and the power goes to his head. Now Conner must fight a man he once called friend to end the new tyranny.
So what do you think? Do you like the idea of this sort of "What If" DLC? Also what d you think about this continued use of a season pass?
Well, not much as changed here in the past week. But that does not mean we aren't going to try and make a podcast!
