There is so much to cover from the last three days from the new hotel, to the amazing guests, panels, and costumes. Let’s kick this review off by talking about the changes that happened this year then we will get into all of the good stuff, guests, panels, and costumes followed by the overall experience of this quiet blogger. NDK 2015 - Photos from the Floor

One thing that you can always count on from NDK is lots of great costumes, and this year is no different. Here are the shots I took from the floor, including some posted by Jim earlier. There is more to come though as I still need to go through the Costume Contest. Look forward to that coming soon.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' - Taking it to a New Level

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' - Taking it to a New Level

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to see Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F at the Sie Film Center here in Denver. And it was quite the treat to see! The movie was everything that one could hope for. There was fighting, comedy, and plenty of escalation of powers! It was also nice that they did not over play powering up but still made it a large event. Everything that you could want from a Dragon Ball Z movie.

In Review - Gekkan Shoujo: Nozaki-kun

So, I started this article several months ago, and I managed to forget to post it all.  Anyways, here's my review of my favorite anime of the last year.

What do you do when your high school crush is clueless, and treats all human interaction as a chance to research for his monthly shoujo manga?  If you are Chiyo Sakura, you go over to his house and start helping him draw his manga.  This is what happens in the first episode of Monthly Girls': Nozaki-kun, when Chiyo attempts to confess her love to her classmate Umetaro Nozaki, but instead tells him that she is "his biggest fan".  Nozaki gives Chiyo an autograph, and invites her to come to . During the rest of the series, we see the development of Chiyo and Nozaki's friendship, as well as an exaggerated look at the life of a manga artist.

The animation quality in the series is great, and the character designs are intuitive and believable.  So far the series is only available subtitled; the Japanese cast is great, so don't let that turn you off.  The soundtrack is generally unremarkable, playing a supporting role, while not being terribly notable.  The series is great fun, and probably the best recent entry to the high school comedy genre.  Overall, I give this series a 4.5 / 5.

"Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" coming to US!

It is no secret that I am a big fan of anime. So when it was announced that "Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" would be released on consoles (PS3 and Vita) here in the states this summer I was pretty damned happy.  Where else will I finally get to pit out such epic matches like Kirito vs Mikoto Misaka! I guess I should give some more info on this game so you understand where I am coming from.  In "Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" characters from different anime series fight each other to overthrown the evil Zetsumu. Ok, I really don't know much about it except I get to play some of my favorite characters from the Dengeki Bunko publishing library. This includes properties such as as "Sword Art Online", "Accel World", "Baccano!", "Durarara!!", "Spice and Wolf" and many more.

In all there will be 14 playable characters and 23 support characters. I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I am really looking forward to it!
