Sony is the second longest running console manufacturer that is in the game now. Over the past year I have started to play more Sony titles thanks to their support of the single-player story experience, something I rather enjoy. So what did they show at their briefing this year? Let's take a look.

Read MoreA large focus of E3 this year is VR, and Sony is pushing it big time. I had my first VR experience with a game that is part of VR Worlds, Scavenger. The game was actually a bunch of fun. In the demo you were in a mech running around the outside of a ship that is pretty destroyed. To get around you can jump along pieces or hull. Once inside you have to make your way through the ship while shooting hundreds of tiny bugs and a few large bugs that shoot acid type stuff. You looked to aim which actually felt really natural. All in all if I do get Playstation VR this game will be on that list. Just need to watch out for motion sickness.
Sony as usual is the last actual press conference of E3 (Nintendo doesn't count anymore as they do the Treehouse live from the floor now). What will they reveal and how anticipated will a lot of this be? The suspense is killing me!

So when it was announced that "Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" would be released on consoles (PS3 and Vita) here in the states this summer I was pretty damned happy. Where else will I finally get to pit out such epic matches like Kirito vs Mikoto Misaka! I guess I should give some more info on this game so you understand where I am coming from. In "Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax" characters from different anime series fight each other to overthrown the evil Zetsumu. Ok, I really don't know much about it except I get to play some of my favorite characters from the Dengeki Bunko publishing library. This includes properties such as as "Sword Art Online", "Accel World", "Baccano!", "Durarara!!", "Spice and Wolf" and many more.
In all there will be 14 playable characters and 23 support characters. I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I am really looking forward to it!
PlayStation Now is a pretty cool idea. 100's of PS3 games that you can stream to play over your PS4. While it is not true backwards compatibility it is pretty close, and if you never actually owned the games you could just play them from here. Downside is that it was super expensive comparatively to actually play the games. But that will soon no longer be a problem. Starting on 01/13/2015 you can subscribe to the service for $19.99 one month at a time or 3 months for $44.99 ($15.00 / month) for unlimited play of the entire catalog.

So I am a big can of the inFAMOUS games, and as such I feel that I have been neglecting news on Second Son. It comes out in just under a month for the PS4. And we have mostly seen the cool smoke / fire powers that our protagonist, Delsin Rowe, has. But what is a good inFAMOUS game without options. And with that in mind they have provided us the Neon power. And it looks amazing.

So I was just about to type how I was waiting for my PS4 to arrive from Amazon. Then my door bell rang and it was on my front porch. After I finish up with the day job I get to break this open and check her out. In the mean time here is the Sony PS4 launch real giving us some teases on what we can expect for this system.
