The Professional Gamer - February 14, 2020

Hi folks! It’s been a fairly busy week this time around. Between running and going to a science lecture, I didn’t have the energy for a lot of other activities. With caucuses coming up, I’ve also been working on getting organized and ready for that. All that I really have to talk about is reading a little more of Quiet and playing a little more World of Warcraft. Neither of these feel like the sort of thing that I need to spend a full blog post on. I’m going to drop things off here, before I get too rambling. I’ll have something more to talk about next weekend. Until then, have a great week and game on!

The Professional Gamer - February 7, 2020

Hi folks! I hope everyone had a good week. Here in Colorado we had a bunch of snow this week. Which is somewhat typical for February. But, that came on the heels of a 70 degree high last Sunday. And the overnight low on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning was -1. That temperature swing really hurt, and I’ve spent as little time as possible outside for the last few days. And, instead of doing the geeky things that I think most of you would be interested in, I’ve been reading some books for work. Like, leadership stuff. But, I did start watching a new anime series this week as well, and I think you all will enjoy hearing about that.

Hi readers! I may have premature on my end of season wrap up for My Here Academia. At this point I’m not sure when one season ends and the next one begins. Anyways, I want to talk about the latest English language episode, “Bright Future”, so spoilers a’hoy. Don’t look at this post if you are worried about spoilers.

The Professional Gamer - January 24, 2020

Hi folks! Sorry about the lack of posts on my end. I was travelling last week and just felt way to tired to talk about anything. I also felt like I hadn’t done much. I spent a few minutes playing Warcraft in the evening, but didn’t feel like I had much to practically report about it. This week went a little better in terms of recreational activities. I spent a lot of time trying to finish up My Hero Academia before the new season of anime comes on in full force. With that said, let’s talk about the second half of this season of My Hero and then a little bit about what I’ve been doing in Warcraft,

The Professional Gamer - January 10, 2020

Hello and Happy New Year! I hope everyone else had a good break for the holidays and didn’t have too rough of a time coming back to work full-time again. If, on the other hand, you are somehow still on holidays, just don’t tell me and pretend that things are too rough. I’ve been back at work for a week now and starting to get back into the normal swing of things. I did take most of Monday just to catch up on email and then the rest of the week working on partially completed projects from before my break. But you probably don’t want to hear about that. You’d rather hear about what I did during break, right?

The Professional Gamer - December 20, 2019

Hi folks! We are rapidly approaching the end of year holidays, and I am on the first day of a two week break from work. I’ll be spending a lot of time with family this coming week, but I’m hoping to find some time to goof of as well. However, this past week was all about the holiday party at work, a quick trip to California to look at a construction site, and then tying up loose ends before being away from the office for two weeks. Which has taken up a lot of my energy, and made it hard to do much aside from holiday prep and Warcraft. I did manage to watch some more seasonal anime, but we’re getting to the end of season now, and I’m afraid of spoiling stuff for everyone. So, I’ll refrain from talking about that in detail anymore and just give a little report on where I am in Warcraft.

Hi readers. I’m happy to be back in the saddle again after a week away. My cold is more under control, requiring only a little bit of sudafed to see me through the day, rather than the curious cocktail of medicines that I was taking last weekend. In any case, let’s talk about some fun things that I’ve done for the past couple of weeks.

Hi readers. I’m not going to be able to make a post tonight as I have come down with a rather nasty cold. I hope I’m feeling better by next week and ready to talk to you more about what I’ve been doing to have fun.

Daku Con 2019 - Cosplay Photos

Daku Con 2019 is now history. And as such it has been immortalized in photos that are now live in the Photos -> Anime section. Little warning ahead of time for those at the office, some of the cosplay is more risque then what is normally seen on this site and at Denver conventions. So maybe browse these on your phone instead of your work computer.
