3DS Game Expectations
/
So Nintendo's latest iteration of the Nintendo DS line, the 3DS has launched in Japan. They had 400,000 units for their loyal minons fans, and they sold out quickly. According to sources most of the these units had been sold when they started taking pre-orders, but the places that were not sold out from pre-orders had lines 2,000 people long. So is this what we are looking forward to here in a months time?
Well if you are planning on getting a 3DS you might want to know what games you will be playing when it is released and we got you covered. But before you get yours hopes up, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is not on the list.
Nintendo themselves plan to bring us:
- Pilotwings Resort™
- Steel Diver™
- nintendogs™ + cats
What a strong opening selection from Nintendo (really need a sarcasim font), these are each going to run us about $39.99.
There are a number of third party titles that are coming out for the system, and these are
- Super Street Fighter® IV 3D Edition from CAPCOM
- The Sims™ 3 from EA
- Madden NFL Football from EA SPORTS
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
- LEGO® Star Wars® III: The Clone Wars™ from LucasArts™
- RIDGE RACER® 3D from NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.
- Super Monkey Ball™ 3D from SEGA
- BUST-A-MOVE UNIVERSE™ from Square-Enix, Inc.
- SAMURAI WARRIORS®: Chronicles from TECMO KOEI AMERICA Corp.
- Asphalt™ 3D from UBISOFT
- Combat of Giants™: Dinosaurs 3D from UBISOFT
- Rayman® 3D from UBISOFT
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Shadow Wars from UBISOFT
We can eventually expect The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time™ 3D, Star Fox 64™ 3D, Kid Icarus™: Uprising and new installments in the Mario Kart™ series, but there are no defenitive dates on this.
So now you know what you can expect, so what games are you looking to get for your 3DS or are you going to hold off for awhile?
