Need a 3DS?

Nintendo loves the 3DS, and who can blame them. It is an awesome system, has fun games, brings people together via the Mii Plaza, and is enticing entry level console. With that said Nintendo has announced not one, but three new 3DS designs.

First up, coming out on September 19th for the October 3rd launch of Super Smash Bros., is the red Super Smash Bros 3DS XL. This does not include the game, but is nice looking.

Next up, and possibly the coolest one on this list, is the NES edition 3DS XL. Exclusive to Gamestop starting October 10th, this system looks like a Nintendo Entertainment System controller. I see this one being very hard to find.

And lastly, we have a system for the Persona Q fans. This blue system launches on November 25th (just after Black Friday) and is designed to look like the iconic Grimoire on the front, and the new style of character art represented on the back. This will perfectly match Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (sold separately).

All three of these systems are set to launch at an MSRP of $199.99 on their respective dates, and are expected to be pretty popular. If you want one, I would jump on them as soon as possible. Curiously though, none of these are said to be the same as the "New 3DS XL" that was announced last month. Does this mean we won't be seeing them in the states? Or does it mean they could be headed here, but after the holidays?
