Hello readers! I hope you all have had a good week, and for those in the U.S., a great Thanksgiving. And if you are interested in such things, found some good deals on electronics and what-not. I’m looking for a new laptop, maybe one that can play games that are withing a few years old, rather than my current computer, which sometimes struggles to run Chrome. But that’s my own issue. Let’s talk about some geeky stuff.

I used some of my spare time off this week to play a bunch of Diablo III, getting my seasonal character up to almost the end of Act IV in Hard Mode. I’m not getting through super quick relative to the overall season timeline, but I made a lot of progress in the last few days at least. Also, spent some time playing Hyrule Warriors with Crystal and my brother.

Thanksgiving Day itself for me was some cooking and then several hours with family eating, talking, and catching up. Black Friday was a lazy morning with Diablo III and then decorating the outside of my house.

Somewhere during the week I ran into the CollegeHumor quiz show “Well, actually…” and a kinda addicted to it. As a rather trivia saturated pedantic nerd, the show is right up my alley.

Last, I reading a new book by Peter Sagal, whom you may have heard if you listen to Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me on public radio. Sagal’s book is The Incomplete Book of Running, a collection of stories, advice, and warnings about running. I picked the book up on my way home from work on Monday, and didn’t get a chance to start reading it until Thursday evening (in between rounds of Hyrule Warriors). In one night, I read almost half of the book. As soon as I finish this post, I’m going to go back to it.

That’s all I’ve got for now. Have a great week and game on!
