/I’m back after another quick, and busy week of work, including a day trip down to Albuquerque. I’ve never done the out and back businessman trip before, so that was a new experience for me. I had a meeting on Tuesday night that kept me away from my house for most of the evening, then the trip to Albuquerque on Wednesday. Thursday, I spent most of my evening putting together some gift suggestions for Christmas (at my parents request, cause I’m hard to shop for). Other than that, I’ve been up to a lot of the usual stuff: watching too much YouTube videos and baking shows on Netflix. Let’s talk about it anyways.
I watched a bunch of ProZD’s videos with friends on Tuesday night, and then spent a fair amount of time on Friday watching some episodes of “Bingeing with Babish” and “Basics with Babish”. A new season of “Great British Bakeoff: Masterclass” has just been released to Netflix, and I’ve been going through that as well. I love watching Paul make bread, because his years of practice show through in his ease and economy of motion. I’m glad that in these latest episodes he spends more time slowing down and discussing exactly what he is doing and why it works.
And that’s all that I’ve really done this week that you might be interested in hearing about. I’m heading to the Jackalope Art Fair this weekend with Crystal (She’s at table 44 on the second floor). If you’re in Denver, and looking for some handmade gifts, you can come down to the McNichols Civic Center building and check it out. Depending on how busy we are, I may be spending some time playing video games, and have something more to post about.
Have a great week and game on !
