COAF Returns!

After two years of delays, Colorado Anime Fest is finally going to have it’s 5th year! To give reference to how long it has been, I have had a daughter since the last COAF and she is now walking and almost talking. Now what can all you anime fans expect at COAF this year!

Guests

We can expect 10 guests to appear at COAF this year. First up on the list is J’Adore Cosplay (Jade Chatman). She will be appearing as the COAF 2022 Costume and Cosplay special judge this year. Next up is SungWon Cho (aka ProZD) whom is probably best known from his YouTube Channel. Then we have Khoi Dao, who is extoling the virtues of owning a cat when not voice acting. Emi Lo is another voice actor that is in the I love cats club owning a spoiled Siberian cat named Noctis. The voice actor Xandar Mobus has braved LAX to come and visit us here in Denver this year. He might have even shared a flight with Laura Stahl! Ciarán Strange is fresh off their geeky musical parodies to join COAF this year. Abby Trott is leaving her cat at home for the weekend, but maybe she will bring her shakuhahci (Japanese flute). Lastly we have Sarah Anne Williams who has been doing VO work for 8+years. Events

Just like with most conventions there is one big challenge, figuring out which events you want to attend and what rooms you want to hang out in if you have free time. Here is a bulleted list of some of the events that you might want to attend.

  • Charity Auction (Lending a Hand in honor of staff and attendees affected by the Marshall Fire)

  • Cosplay Cafe

  • Cosplay Chess

  • Rave

  • Cosplay Contest

  • Lots and lots of panels

And during the time you are not in there you can visit any of the following

  • Anime Bar

  • Artist’s Alley

  • Vendor’s Hall

  • Manga Library

  • Tabletop Gaming

  • Video Gaming

  • Video Rooms

  • Quiet Room (if you need some peaceful downtime).

  • Kid’s Programming

These sorts of rooms and events really make a convention what it it in my opinion.

When and Where?
