The first trailer has hit the interwebs. And I already feel bad for the characters. There is one scene in the trailer that is a literal shot to the heart.
Last night millions of geeks watched 1/2 a football game in order to see the new Star Wars trailer. And seconds afterward it was on hundreds of site, now including this one!
So what can we tell from this? One, Luke may or may not be the bad guy. There is a lot of speculation around this, but I am going to vote that he is not a villain. Two we will see the Millennium Falcon again (although we already knew this). And that it looks cool. Here is hoping that this movie returns the Star Wars cinema to the greatness we think it deserves.
"Guardian's of the Galaxy" (GotG) released this week to a suspecting public. This is undoubtedly one of the riskier movies Marvel Studios has made so far. GotG is relatively unknown unless you are an active comic reader. It is not like Iron Man, Hulk, or Captain America that may be considered household names, or at least common knowledge to the standard public. Peter Quill is likely to invoke quizzical glances instead of familiarity if you bring him up in conversation. Same goes for Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket; none of these characters are well known. So was the risk worth it for Marvel? If you don't have enough time to read this whole review then A) Why not? and B) Yes, the risk was worth it.

You are almost expected to have a device of some sort that can access the vast libraries of entertainment they have, and for some time the easiest way to access them were the game consoles that most of us gamers own. But that is changing, all for the better.

I appear to be in a video mood today. As many of you may (or may not) know, Gangnam Style as taken the world (defined by 300,000,000+ YouTube hits) by storm. So that means the parodies are going to roll in. So, without further ado, I present to you Klingon Style.
So what do you get when you take a beloved Nintendo Franchise and recreate it as a spaghetti western? Well you get the masterfully done "Fistful of Rupees". Created by The Game Station this different view on the Zelda series is actually really entertaining. Check out all three parts below (part 2 and part 3 after the jump.
Have you ever wondered what it would look like if some people with too much time on their hands arranged 30,000 dominoes into Nintendo shapes and then set them all off? Me neither, but that does not mean that someone did not do it, and here is the video as proof.
