This category is almost unfair.  When there is a World of Warcraft expansion pack released, it’s almost a foregone conclusion who will win.  With that said, I present you the Gameslave Award for the Best Expansion Pack:  The Sims 3: Ambitions. 

The Sims 3: Ambitions gave Sims player’s one thing they have always wanted, to control your Sim while at work.  No longer did we have to wait for eight hours to fly by in order to take control of our……okay, even though I really like The Sims 3: Ambitions, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is our winner.  Everything you like about WoW, Cataclysm improved on it.  The new areas, the revamped old worlds, the questing, everything has been improved.  World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is almost more than an expansion pack; it feels like a new game.
