XBOX E3 2018 Briefing Impressions
/To say Microsoft showed a lot of games would be an understatement. They had 50 games, some already released but with new content, some were exclusive, and some just new. Although there was not always a lot said about these games.
- Halo: Infinite
- New Halo title, this feels me with both absolute joy and fear.
- Yes, we saw a new Halo coming, it was going to happen.
- More Halos? Sweet.
- Fingers crossed they are not just beating a dead horse though.
- Ori and the Will of the Wisp
- Ori is back!
- The original was hard, but really fun and rewarding.
- The soundtrack was perfect too. Had it not been so calming I would have quit the game 1/2 way through.
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- New fantasy action adventure samurai game.
- You play an undead samurai who probably has nothing yet everything to lose.
- Possible enough gadgets to make Batman blush. maybe?
- Fallout 76
- Prequel to the series.
- 4X bigger then Fallout 4
- There will be more then 1 kind of bug given the developer.
- That was all, have a good day.
- Captain Spirit
- A kid's imagination is a powerful tool.
- 100% free starting 6/26
- Looks interesting, but still not sure what the game actually is.
- Crackdown 3
- Feels like we have been here before. Like this game was announced 3 years ago.
- It might actually come out 2/2019
- Part of Xbox Gamepass
- NieR: Automata
- I wonder why some companies like to announce already released games as they are something super new at E3? Is it a sign of just trying to pad the roster?
- Re-release with the DLC included.
- Metro Exodus
- That is post nuclear apocalypse game #2.
- Lots of monsters in this game.
- Customizable guns and looks like a decent amount of exploration from the trailer.
- Kingdom Hearts 3
- No longer is it a PS exclusive it would appear.
- There is a now a Frozen, Wreck it Ralph, and Tangled levels.
- 01/29/2019
- Sea of Theives
- I still have not played this. Not sure that will change anytime soon.
- Two expansions over the coming months for it at least.
- Battlefield V
- No surprise this made a showing.
- Forza Horizon 4
- There are seasons and weather effects on the cars.
- All dynamic, but synchronized among all players.
- The game looks beautiful.
- Lots of different cars taking place in Britain.
- Shared online community.
- Xbox One and Windows 10
- Part of Xbox Gamepass at release.
- There are seasons and weather effects on the cars.
- New Microsoft Studios

- Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
- This title screams anime
- Another re-release only with all the DLC.
- The Division 2
- A civil war is brewing with what is left of the government.
- Still a bunch of team based combat from the looks of things.
- And yeah, that is really all they said despite a really fancy trailer.
- Xbox Game Pass
- Another subscription based gaming service
- Added FastStart
- Machine learning to start games faster
- Just what we need, machine learning on video games, humans may not get violent from video games, but who knows about AI.
- The Division, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Fallout 4 also part of the pass.
- Shadows of the Tomb Raider
- I would feel bad for Lara if she didn't keep putting herself in these bad situations.
- Looks like gameplay is relatively unchanged.
- Session.
- A new skateboarding game.
- Why do these guys never wear helmets in the game trailers?
- Black Desert MMORPG
- Curiosity killed the a cat, and apparently the main villain int his game a few times.
- Fantasy based, I like that part.
- Devil May Cry 5
- The trailer had a pretty neat van.
- Combat looks fun. Main character has a robot arm that is used in several different ways, that is cool.
- Will the Devil ever actually cry?
- Dante made a quick showing at the end of the trailer.
- Cuphead
- New map and characters in 2019
- Tunic
- A fox that looks like Link and letter that cannot be read, fancy.

- Just Cause 4
- Never loan that guy a car, never.
- Gears Pop
- A funko pop video game?
- Well, it worked for Lego I guess.
- A funko pop video game?
- Gears Tactics
- A Gears of War RTS game
- Gears 5
- It was announced, that was all. The crowd sounded pretty relieved at this announcement after the first two.
- You follow Caid, and something goes horribly wrong!
- I didn't play GOW 1 -4, so I don't know what is going on.
- CyberPunk 2077
- The cinematic looked fun. And it was introduced just right interrupting the closing of the event to make it look like someone hacked the event.
